1/14/2024 0 Comments Waterfox 32.0![]() You talk a lot of a browser you haven't even used that much, makes sense to me. My post were clearly about current version 24.7.2 which is stable as fk, can't be compared to FF, it just doesn't crash at all, and plugin container is waaaay more stable. I don't usually install betas to expect stability lmao. Yeah, you tested a program that is supposed to be bugged, its a beta. I cant stand a buggy browser that's not compatible. I tested Beta 2 and got rid of Palemoon after that. There aware of it but developers of addons for Firefox don't seem overly concerned about making them compatible with Palemoon that's going always be based on and old code. And it has a native 64 bits version for my machine! Just cool. So far Pale Moon is the only browser giving me these features. I want my browser to be stable, safe, and fast, and to respect my privacy. The compatibility issue is a thing, but way overrated. ![]() Pale Moon has built in a lot of features that in ff you'll need to install an addon for it. I can't expect to use a browser as broken as Firefox "Plugin cointaner crashes at least 3 times per week when I play videos". "The Release is set to be tomorrow, and I'm happy and ready to test it out."Ī nice amount of addon developers are aware of this, and major addons will be compatible. This extension compatibility information will also be posted on the release day. Important additional information with regards to extension compatibility does apply to this new major version, and some popular Firefox extensions do not work out of the box. I have to say that if you do not like the "Old" Firefox GUI you should then not try Pale Moon, since Pale Moon uses an Hybrid Version of the classic GUI with some features of the Australis. You can find all the info in the Pale Moon official forums. The new V25 is not compatible with windows XP due to it's improvements to newe hardware. Tomorrow the new version of Pale Moon V25 will be release, I don't know how good it is compared to the latest stable 24.7.2 which has worked great for me. The features it has are great if you are those who play a bit with the browser before installing just another one. In performance, the Pale Moon 圆4 bits which is a Native 64 bits version, it runs just faster. Then, Pale Moon is more of the old school, these features just doesn't exists at all, and when we talk about Privacy, Pale Moon is just better than Firefox and Waterfox. Mozilla didn't even ask me for this, they just added it and enabled it by default. THe second reason was I don't want any sort of sharing my downloads with google at all. In the old times I had to disable this feature in about:config, the first reason was legit files being blocked, with no chance to just ignore the warning, but you are forced to not being able to download it at all. exe file being downloaded to google servers "To protect you". exe file you download, sending your ip plus the information about that. Firefox and Waterfox has enabled by default the new "Protection layout" which will verify every single. But personally, I do not like how Firefox, as well as most Mozilla based browsers just add options set by default which may not be what you want in terms of privacy. Now I'm convinced that the problem is Newegg's server farm, some of their machines don't have the cache expirations set correctly, and clearing my cookies, allowed them to send me to a different machine in their farm.Runs slower than Pale Moon 圆4 at least for me. I opened up that SHIFT+F5 console, clicked Network, it prompted me to click "Reload", the page loaded, the headers that my browser sent included this:īut I know for a fact that page is outdated.Įdit: Restarting (after applying several Windows updates) didn't help.įinally, I cleared all of my Newegg cookies, and hit CTRL+F5, and the new page finally showed up. Is this a caching problem on Newegg's end? Something with their web farm and Squid and whatnot? It's frustrating not being able to see the newest deals on this PC.Įdit: I think that the problem is on Newegg's end. CTRL+F5, turns the page white, and the images appear to re-load, but it's still the same expired page. SHIFT+F5 appears to bring up some sort of web debugger console. I've tried clicking reload several times, SHIFT+reload, what's the magic keystrokes to get it to load the page fresh from the 'net, instead of from cache? ![]() What do I have to do to get Waterfox to load the most current version of a page? On my other PC, I already have seen the new deals page. I'm at, clicked on "email deals", and I get a page that says "72 hours, early black friday.
